A private discussion then followed with the attending fellows from Czechia, France, Germany, Great Britain, Italy, Netherlands, Portugal, Romania, Spain, and the USA.

Czech UAP research team meeting

The revamped Tým Záře (Team Glow) gathered in Prague on February 21, 2026, to review the state of UAP (Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena) report collection and case analysis in Czechia.

The meeting was attended by prominent pioneer of Czech UFO research, Vladimír Šiška, former chairman of the original Projekt Záře (Project Glow) initiative. Active from 1992 to 2022, the project was revitalized in 2024 as part of a broader European scientific cooperation network.

A key highlight was the introduction of a new team “member”: a custom AI assistant named “Hynek”—named in honor of the renowned aastronomer and ufologist of Czech descent, Dr. J. Allen Hynek. Specially tailored to evaluate UAP sighting reports, Hynek reduces case intake analysis that previously took hours of manual research down to just a few minutes.

During 2025, Tým Záře processed 55 new entries in its database. Of these, 33 cases were successfully identified as conventional phenomena, while 22 were closed due to insufficient data.
