EuroUFO dinners in Paris

Taking the opportunity of the UAP  debate hosted at the French Parliament on June 29th (where as many as four EuroUfo.net members were among the speakers), several ufologists converged to Paris on the previous weekend.

As usual, several private meetings and dinners were organized, involving more than 30 fellows coming from all over France as well as from Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, and Switzerland.

Eric von Däniken (1935-2026)

Swiss writer death of Erich von Däniken died on January 10, 2026 at the age of 90.
He was primarily concerned with “ancient astronauts”, but he was also marginally interested in UFOs, and his magazine Sagenhafte Zeiten (Legendary Times) has regularly publisheed articles about UFOs.
Von Däniken announced that his book Notizen aus meinem Leben (Notes from my life), published in October 2024, would be his last. His archives have been preserved and the passing of the baton between him and Ramon Zürcher was announced by a double editorial in the last issue of 2025 of Sagenhafte Zeiten.
